The Bronnbacher Scholarship was initiated by the Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft in 2004 to support the cultural education of prospective leaders early in their studies, motivating them to assume social responsibility in their future decision-making roles. Inspiration, creativity, intuition, and the ability to change perspectives are the basis for long-term success in today’s world of business and knowledge. Through its cultural education programme, the Kulturkreis provides future leaders with new and creative approaches to the challenges of professional life. Our partners for this successful programme are the University of Mannheim (since 2004) and the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (since 2017).
The Bronnbacher Scholarship is supported by BASF SE (Main Sponsor) and Daimler AG, as well as the following sponsors: Robert Bosch GmbH, the Friends of the University of Mannheim, the Peters Beer Foundation, the Karl Schlecht Foundation, the Marga and Kurt Möllgaard Foundation, the Dieter Schwarz Foundation gGmbH, and the Würth Group.
Ab 2025 wird das Programm den Namen "Kulturkreis Stipendium" tragen.
