The Working Group for Cultural Tasks Abroad (AKA) contributes to cultural activities on an international scale. The working group focuses on supporting projects that are particularly relevant for the German economy, benefit the development of a partner country, or aid intercultural understanding. Additionally, the AKA offers opportunities for humanitarian tasks abroad, for example disaster relief. Since it is structured as an association, the AKA is able to conduct international work that is tax-deductible in Germany.
