Since 1951, the Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft has sponsored art and culture in the areas of architecture, visual arts, literature, and music.
As the public voice of the business community on cultural issues, the Kulturkreis works to establish the relevance of art for society and to defend if need be, as well as to demand necessary framework conditions.
With its Kulturkreis scholarships, the Kulturkreis introduces young executives to the relevance of art for our society and opens up art to them as a space of opportunity for an existential examination of social issues.
